Role Summary

Ensure that the company’s products or services meet the highest quality standards through the development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive quality assurance program.

Job Description

  • Establishing and maintaining quality control procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Conducting regular audits and inspections of production processes, materials, and finished products to identify any quality issues and ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Developing and implementing testing procedures to evaluate product performance, reliability, and safety.
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as production, sales, maintenance to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitoring and analyzing quality performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Leading cross-functional teams in the investigation and resolution of quality-related issues or non-conformities.
  • Conducting internal and external quality training sessions to educate employees on quality requirements and best practices.
  • Documenting and maintaining records of quality inspections, tests, and corrective actions taken.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and advancements in quality assurance methodologies.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and suggesting process enhancements to enhance overall product quality and customer satisfaction.

Educational Requirements

B.Sc. in Food Science/Technology, Agriculture, nutrition, or chemistry from a reputable university. M.Sc. is a plus.

Knowledge and Experience

  • More than 2 years of experience, preferably in a food or FMCG industry.
  • Excellent Knowledge of ISO 22000 standard and regulations related to food facilities such as GMP, HACCP.
  • Good knowledge of internal operational audit.
  • Good Knowledge of microbiology.
  • Good knowledge of chemistry and basic food chemical analysis.
  • Advanced practical experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English language.
