Job Brief

Ensure the highest standards of quality are met and maintained across all operations within the organization through developing, implementing, and overseeing quality management systems, processes, and strategies.

Job Desciption

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management system to ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Establish and maintain quality control procedures, policies, and guidelines that are efficient, effective, and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are uniformly implemented throughout the organization.
  • Design and execute quality audits to assess compliance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead the investigation and resolution of quality issues, utilizing root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance quality outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of quality consciousness and continuous improvement by promoting awareness and providing necessary training to employees.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate quality tools, methodologies, and technologies to optimize quality assurance processes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and external stakeholders to ensure the quality of incoming materials, products, and services.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices, trends, and regulatory requirements related to quality management and incorporate relevant changes as needed.

Educational Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Food Science/Technology, Agriculture, nutrition, or chemistry from a reputable university.
  • M.Sc. is a plus

Knowledge and Experience

  • More than 5 years of experience, preferably in a food or FMCG industry.
  • Excellent Knowledge of ISO 22000 standard and regulations related to food facilities such as GMP, HACCP.
  • Good knowledge of internal operational audit.
  • Good Knowledge of microbiology.
  • Good knowledge of chemistry and basic food chemical analysis.
  • Advanced practical experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English languages.
